Established in the Spring of 1998, the Amoskeag U-19 program enters its 20th Anniversary season. The program is supported by athletes from the Southern New Hampshire school districts (Bedford-Manchester-Nashua-Derry-Londonderry-Goffstown). Our family of players have represented the USA at the U-19’s: World Jr. Championships South Africa-2004, Dubai 2005, U-17’s: Ireland 2017, U-16’s: Canada-2016/17. Currently, we have six players attending the HSAA: High School All-Americans player selection camp with Ireland-Argentina-Spain and Canada selection opportunities.

Why Rugby?

Rugby is arguably the fastest growing sport in the United States, with over 2,500 high school teams and colleges starting to get funding to support programs with more than just a “club” status. As a sport, rugby incorporates constant movement, aerobic exercise, balance, and hand-eye coordination. Rugby is an ideal sport to promote all-around physical development in young athletes. Athletes will learn transferable life skills such as: Character-Culture-Leadership.
