Amoskeag Women's Rugby Team had a great fall season and we are continuing it into the spring!

The Amoskeag Rugby Club is New Hampshire’s oldest rugby program. Formed in 1984, the rugby club currently runs a highly competitive men’s program and a boy’s under-19 team. Amoskeag is the successor to the Concord Rugby Club, which brought the sport of rugby to the Merrimack Valley in the 1970’s. “Concord also had a women’s rugby program, which dissolved in the early 1980’s,” said Amoskeag Rugby former president Mark Broth. “Amoskeag is pleased to be able to help bring women’s rugby back to this area." The Amoskeag Women's team started in 2009.

Amoskeag Women's Rugby is looking for new and experienced players!

No previous experience is needed to play.

Please be sure to wear shorts, cleats or sneakers, bring plenty of water and a mouth guard to practice.  Please leave all jewelry at home!  We look forward to a great fall season!
